Interested in Computer Graphics?

Imagination Technologies’ POWERVR graphics IP powers the industry’s leading 2D/3D accelerators, supporting a broad range of applications in the mobile, consumer and computing segments.

POWERVR graphics IP cores provide powerful, flexible solutions for all forms of next-generation embedded multimedia processing and are now the de facto standard for system-on-chip application processors. POWERVR IP is used by the majority of leading semiconductor companies and showcased in products like the Nokia N95, Samsung Omnia HD and Sony Vaio P-Series netbooks.

Mobile Multimedia
Cadence

Hardware engineers working on POWERVR graphics use state-of-the-art Cadence and Synopsys verification and synthesis tools, rapid prototyping using the latest Xilinx FPGAs and a state of the art Cadence Palladium III Emulator. Engineers working on POWERVR hardware are involved in the complete design cycle – specification, architecture, RTL design, verification, physical implementation, fabrication, chip bring-up and validation.

Clarion Mind

Software engineers working on POWERVR graphics are, again, typically involved in the complete design cycle of algorithm specification, simulation, implementation and validation. Areas of specialization include: drivers; system design and DSP algorithm development; drivers for a range of embedded systems such as mobile phones, media players, car navigation systems and digital radios; tools for Imagination’s innovative embedded processing architectures; and drivers and low-level APIs for a wide range of peripherals from MPEG decoders and display pipelines to I/O blocks. Software development is primarily in C/C++. OS support includes Linux, Symbian OS, Windows and WinCE.

We are looking for people with a broad combination of skills and a keen interest in computer graphics. We would particularly like to meet candidates who are pursuing or have pursued a graphics project, whether personal or work-related.
